First Trip to the Hogle Zoo

We finally took Aurora to the Zoo a couple weekends ago. It was so fun. We went right at the time she takes her morning nap, so this is the expression we got most of the time....she was tired and I think a little overwhelmed with all her senses.


Her favorite part was the big wooden Elephant who blows water and makes noises, the train ride and the water ball when you first walk into the zoo. Honestly, we could have just stayed there the whole time and she would have been just fine.

The Orangutan was sweet. His/Her (?) face was pressed up against the glass so Aurora and he/she were right at eye level. Aurora wasn't sure about it, but when she'd walk around the Orangutan would just follow her with her eyes. It was sweet! 

She of course loved Baby Zuri the Elephant. She is soooo cute! Makes me want a baby elephant!! ;) 

 

We can't wait to go back again!
